1. How To Apply?

The application process comprises of 4 steps:

Once you’ve registered, you’ll automatically receive an email containing the instructions to complete the Ambassador quiz. Please read the email carefully to ensure your application is submitted correctly.

Selected Shapers will be invited to a 30-minute virtual interview with Shaping Sarah to talk more about the role and make sure it feels like the right fit on both sides.

2. What is a Heelogy Ambassador?

What am I here to do?

A Heelogy Ambassador represents the academy by sharing their own heels journey authentically and leading by example within the community. You help other Shapers see what’s possible when they commit to themselves. Through your progress, you inspire others while helping Heelogy reach and connect with even more Shapers.

As a Heelogy Ambassador, you bring amazing energy to the community, contribute creatively behind the scenes, stay connected with the team, and share Heelogy naturally with the people around you. The way you show up truly matters because you might be the first person a future Shaper sees before stepping into a Heelogy class. You help them get excited to start their own journey too!

❓"Can I apply if I’ve never taken a Heelogy program before?"

Not yet. To apply, you must have completed at least 1 Heelogy program or 3 Heelogy workshops. We want our Ambassadors to represent Heelogy from personal experience and already understand the community they’re representing.

3. Eligibility Requirements

Can I apply?

✅ Previous Heelogy experience

You must have completed at least 1 Heelogy program or 3 Heelogy workshops. Ambassadors represent Heelogy from personal experience, so we want you to already understand what it feels like to be part of the community before representing it.‍

✅ iPhone

‍You must have access to an iPhone for content creation and sharing. A large part of the Ambassador role involves capturing and exchanging video footage with the Heelogy team, and our current content workflow is built around the simplicity of iPhone-to-iPhone sharing.‍

✅ Public Instagram account

‍Your Instagram account must be public for the duration of your Ambassador term. Because you’ll be sharing your Heelogy journey and representing the academy online, your content needs to be accessible beyond your existing audience.‍

✅ Basic content creation knowledge

‍You don’t need to be an expert content creator, but you should already feel comfortable filming content and doing basic video editing. This includes selecting and cutting clips, creating simple transitions, working with music, and putting together a clean short-form video.‍

✅ Basic CapCut experience

‍You should already know your way around CapCut (free editing app). You’ll receive additional content training as an Ambassador, but we’re looking for people who already have a foundation we can build on.‍

✅ Availability‍

You must have enough availability to consistently heels dance, create your required content, and attend 3 monthly virtual meetings.

❓"I’m a beginner Shaper. Can I be an Ambassador or do I need to be advanced?"

Yes, you can be an Ambassador! I’m not looking for the best dancer. I’m looking for someone who is committed to their heels journey, willing to keep learning, and excited to share that growth with others. In fact, being a beginner can make your story even more relatable to someone who’s watching you and wondering if they’re ready to start. I don’t need you to represent perfection. I want you to represent what it looks like to keep shaping.

❓"How many Ambassadors are you selecting?"

For this intake, we’re looking for 4 new Ambassadors: 3 based in Montreal and 1 based outside of Montreal.

4. What Are The Responsibilities?

What do I do?

‍

The Heelogy Ambassador role has 3 functions:

💰 Affiliate Partner

How you help Heelogy grow:

• Maintain an active Heelogy affiliate code that gives your audience 15% off all Heelogy offerings while you earn 15% commission on every tracked registration (Montreal and Online).
• Keep the Heelogy registration link or your affiliate code easily accessible in your Instagram bio.
• Naturally integrate your affiliate code into your content when sharing your heels dance journey.

Minimum expectations:

• Your affiliate code should generate a minimum of 3 tracked referrals per month to remain active.
• Your first 2 months as an Ambassador are considered a probation period. We understand that getting your first referral takes time, so the 3-referral minimum will not be strictly enforced during this period.

Shaping tip:

"I don’t want to pressure you into getting referrals. I want to help you build enough trust and consistency with your audience that referrals become a natural result of sharing your Heelogy journey."

📲 Content Creator

How you share your heels journey:

• Post 5 Instagram Stories per week related to your Heelogy journey. Your Stories don’t always have to be dance videos. Share different parts of the journey, such as class footage, beginner videos, progress, getting ready for class, your outfit, self-care, practice sessions, mental reflections, lessons you’re learning, or how heels is impacting your life outside of the studio. Show the journey, not just the dancing.
• Post 1 Instagram Reel per month related to your Heelogy journey. Your Reel can be anywhere from 15 seconds to 1 minute and can take whatever direction feels most authentic to you. There’s no required format or verbiage. The goal is simply to creatively document and share your experience as part of your heels journey.
• Capture content during class. Regularly film short videos of yourself, other Shapers, and the overall class experience so we have authentic footage that reflects what it feels like to train at Heelogy.
• Create 1 Recap Edit per week. This is a 15-30 second video using footage captured during class. Recaps should be clean, high-quality, and visually tell the story of the experience with no text on screen. This recap edit is not to be posted on your personal page. It’s for Shaping Sarah to use for  marketing on the Heelogy page.
• Experiment with different ways of telling your story, including talking videos, voiceovers, transformations, text-on-screen content, and training videos.
• Include your affiliate code naturally in the content you share. You don’t need to include your code in every Heelogy Reel or Story. Share it when it feels relevant and aligned. The goal is for your code to feel like a natural extension of your story rather than an ad.

Minimum expectations:

• 5 Instagram Stories per week
• 1 Instagram Reel per month
• 1 Recap Edit per week to share with Shaping Sarah (not posted on your personal page)

Shaping tip:

"I don’t want you to turn your personal Instagram page into a Heelogy ad. People connect with people before they connect with brands. Your responsibility is to share your journey well enough that people naturally become curious about where your growth is happening."

How you show up and stay involved:

• Ambassador Team Meetings: 2x per month. Attend 2 virtual Ambassador Team Meetings per month. These meetings are our opportunity to connect as a team, brainstorm ideas, and learn from one another.
• Ambassador 1:1 Check-In: 1x per month. Attend one virtual meeting with Coach Shaping Sarah each month. This meeting is focused specifically on you: how you’re doing in your role, where you may need more support, and how you’d like to continue growing within Heelogy.
• Weekly Ambassador Memos: It is your responsibility to know what is currently happening at Heelogy so you can confidently represent the academy and direct Shapers to the right information.‍
• Class Energy: Help create a welcoming and supportive class environment, especially for new or nervous Shapers.‍
• Group Chat: Engage thoughtfully in program and ambassador group chats to stay connected.‍
• Attendance: Show up consistently for the Heelogy program you’re enrolled in. Ambassadors who meet the program’s attendance requirement earn an additional Attendance Premium. The premium amount varies depending on the length of the program.

Minimum expectations:

• Attend 2 virtual Ambassador Team Meetings per month.
• Attend 1 virtual Ambassador 1:1 Check-In per month.
• Communicate in advance if you’re unable to attend a scheduled meeting or a program date.

"Culture is contagious. The energy you bring into class, the ideas you bring to meetings, the things you do without being asked to do it, and how you treat a nervous beginner all influence the team positively. The tiny things you do consistently become the culture we’re known for."

❓"Does my affiliate code work for both online and Montreal offerings?"

Yes. Your affiliate code can be used for all online and Montreal offerings.

‍

❓"Do all 5 Stories need to be posted in one day?"

No. Your 5 Stories can be spread throughout the week.

‍

❓"Do I need to live in Montreal?"

No. Because Heelogy has an online training platform, we’re able to welcome Ambassadors from outside of Montreal. However, you must be in a time zone that allows you to reasonably attend our virtual meetings. EST or PST time zones are currently preferred.

❓"Do I need a certain number of Instagram followers?"

No. Your follower count means nothing to me. I care more about your consistency and your ability to create authentic content people connect with.

❓"When do affiliate commissions get paid out?"

Affiliate commissions are paid monthly, by the last day of the month.

5. What Qualities do I Need?

You don’t have to be the loudest person or have a huge following, but you should be willing to use your voice, show your face, share your perspective, and represent Heelogy publicly.‍

You’re not applying just for free access to dance classes. You believe in what Heelogy is building and you see yourself growing within the organization.

"I’m not looking for the strongest dancer, or the one with the most followers. That means nothing to me. I’m much more interested in your consistency and the way you show up for the people around you."

❓"How can I see how many times my code has been used?"

Every Ambassador receives a personal Earnings Dashboard that automatically tracks referrals, including the order number and commission amount. You’ll also receive an automated email every time someone uses your affiliate code, so you can celebrate your referrals in real time!

❓"Do I have to pay for the program or workshop I am enrolled in?"

No. You do not pay for the Heelogy program you’re assigned to as part of your Ambassador role. You also don’t pay for the workshops you decide to participate in.

❓"Can I choose what kind of content I create?"

Yes! You have full creative freedom over your personal content. There are no required scripts or specific formats. I want your content to sound and feel like you. As long as you’re meeting the content requirements and sharing your Heelogy journey authentically, you’re encouraged to experiment and create in your own style.

6. What is the Compensation?

What do I receive in exchange?

💵 Financial Compensation

• 15% Affiliate Commission: Earn 15% commission on registrations made using your personal Heelogy affiliate code. There is no set earning cap. The more successful referrals you generate, the more you can earn.
• Attendance Premium: Earn an additional Attendance Premium when you meet the attendance requirement for the Heelogy program you’re enrolled in. The premium amount and number of permitted absences vary depending on the length of the program. This premium rewards ambassadors who consistently show up and remain committed to their training.

👠 Other Benefits

• Ongoing Heelogy Training: You’ll have opportunities to consistently participate in Heelogy programs and workshops to give you a space to continue developing your heels training.
• Team-Bonding Experiences: Get invited to Ambassador-only activities such as yoga, picnics, outings, and other experiences to help the team connect outside of the studio.
• Growth Opportunities: As the academy expands, so will our team. New roles and opportunities will continue to be created, and Ambassadors will receive priority consideration for positions that align with their strengths and goals.

❓"How much time should I expect to dedicate to the Ambassador role each week?"

Plan for approximately 2.5 hours per week, although it may vary slightly. This should be enough time to edit your weekly Recap Edit, post your weekly Stories, post your monthly Reel, and attend virtual meetings.

❓"How long are the virtual meetings?"

Virtual meetings are 30 minutes. We keep them intentional and focused so we can stay connected without taking too much time out of your schedule.

❓"Can I choose which Heelogy programs I want to enroll in?"

You’ll be able to share your preferences. However, Ambassadors are placed based on where the team currently needs representation. We rotate program placements each season so you’ll have opportunities to experience different parts of Heelogy.

❓"Can I participate in more than one program at a time?"

As an Ambassador, you’ll be assigned to 1 program at a time, but you can participate in multiple Heelogy workshops.

‍

❓"What happens if I can’t attend a meeting or need to miss a class?"

Occasional communicated absences are completely understandable. Every Team Meeting will have a recap available so you can catch up on anything you missed. What isn’t okay is repeated or uncommunicated absences. If you know you can’t attend a meeting or class, communicate with me ahead of time so I know what’s happening.
